Bio
Rich is a Senior Design Engineer with over 39 years of experience in cleanup design, remediation program management, cleanup construction management, work plan development, remediation engineering, environmental investigation, and site assessment. He has in-depth experience in spill response and cleanup construction operations management, including direct responsibility for managing a large response action at a shoreline facility, and for directing a multimillion-dollar Superfund site cleanup program. Rich also was the engineer of the Farallon team that patented a soil probe and method for monitoring volatile organic compounds in soil gas.

When Rich is not at his computer in the office, he can be found puttering on his Newport 33 sailboat, working on his 1964 MGB sports car, flying his paraglider above Tiger Mountain, or doing something with his wife, Karen, and one or more of their five grown children.
