Bio
Angie earned her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she studied conservation and restoration, among a variety of other environmental topics. She also completed an outside concentration in Geography, primarily focusing on geographic information systems. While in college, she also worked for 3 years as a research assistant in a vegetation laboratory, studying the impacts of wildfires on ecosystems and the effects of restoration efforts. Angie’s field experience includes subsurface investigations, soil sampling, and groundwater monitoring and sampling.
Fun Facts
Angie grew up riding horses and was introduced to equestrian polo while in college. She played for the UC Santa Barbara polo team for 4 years and since graduating has continued to make polo a huge part of her life. She also enjoys hiking, skiing, photography, and exploration of the Pacific Northwest with friends.
