Farallon welcomes Joe Rounds as Senior Project Manager. Joe brings over 16 years of experience and a track record of successful completion of remediation projects resulting in timely No Further Action determinations for his clients. Joe has worked on a variety of projects involving soil and groundwater remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons, specializing in remediation treatment system design, installation, and operation with a focus on effective use of the systems he designs to achieve clients' cleanup goals.
Joe has also worked on a fixed-cost-to-closure portfolio of sites that involved management of budgets, remediation work, and regulatory negotiations to obtain property-specific No Further Action determinations. Additional project work includes conducting Phase II subsurface investigations and soil, air, and water sampling, and managing site-generated waste, including profiling and removal. Joe’s background also includes permit and regulatory negotiations, and a working knowledge of Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; Washington State Model Toxics Control Act Cleanup Regulation; and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System regulations.
Working from Farallon’s downtown Seattle office, Joe manages investigation and remediation projects, supporting the firm’s growing client-base throughout the Pacific Northwest.
