Chris Moody, a Principal Geologist, joins Farallon’s Portland, Oregon office, bringing 23 years of environmental consulting experience to the firm. Chris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Applied Geology from Northern Arizona University. He has served as a project manager or lead project geologist for remedial investigations/feasibility studies, sediment investigations, and environmental studies for clients in both the private and public sectors throughout the United States. For the past several years, Chris has been focusing on providing technical allocation support for Comprehensive Response, Compensation, and Liability Act sediment and groundwater cases. He has extensive expertise managing environmental projects, including development of strategic approaches and design and construction oversight on sediment remedies. His background includes regulatory negotiation; management of complex, large-scale projects such as Superfund sites to achieve compliance with state and federal regulations; and allocation and litigation support services.
“I’m excited for this transition and am looking forward to working with my Farallon colleagues to manage the cleanup at sediment sites and continue my role in supporting technical allocation at sites across the country,” says Chris.
