Kim Magruder Carlton has joined Farallon’s Bellingham office as Associate Scientist. Kim’s 24 years of experience as an Environmental Scientist includes roles as Quality Assurance Manager, Project Manager, and Task Manager for a wide range of projects, including sediment cleanup actions on the Lower Duwamish Waterway, Portland Harbor sediment remedial investigations, and remedial investigation and Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analysis support at Port of Seattle Terminal 117. Her project experience includes environmental investigations conducted under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; and various Washington State regulations, including the Model Toxics Control Act Cleanup Regulation, Sediment Management Standards, and the Puget Sound Dredged Material Management Office Program.
Kim’s industry experience and extensive background in quality assurance/quality control management adds breadth to Farallon’s Bellingham office, and the opportunity to provide additional local environmental consulting services to public and private clients in Whatcom, Skagit, Island, and Snohomish Counties, and additional capabilities to augment Farallon’s contaminated sediment management practice.
