Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (Oil Storage)
Facilities with the capacity to store 1,320 gallons of oil in 55-gallon containers likely need a Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC Plan). We can prepare an SPCC Plan and assist with development of a compliance program to implement it. (For agricultural operations, requirements may differ.)
Our Compliance team assists in determining whether an SPCC Plan is required for site operations. If so, our Compliance team works with our Engineering team to evaluate the tanks, storage areas, secondary containment, site drainage, and site security. We provide the client with information on necessary upgrades, and then prepare an SPCC Plan. Our Compliance team helps the client develop a compliance program and trains employees to implement the SPCC Plan and continue compliance.
