Kim’s 28 years of experience include an extensive background in quality assurance/quality control management of local and international environmental assessment projects for multiple media.  Her project experience includes both upland and marine environmental investigations conducted under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; and various Washington State regulations, including the Model Toxics Control Act Cleanup Regulation, Sediment Management Standards, and the Puget Sound Dredged Material Management Office Program.

When not at work, Kim and her husband are often found at the local horse barn, knee‑deep in supporting their daughter’s 4H-related activities. In her free time, Kim also enjoys going on walks with her family’s other horse (their Great Dane), reading, knitting, or going on day hikes.
